Chester Cathedral Rogationtide Service

Chester Cathedral for the Rogationtide Service in the presence of the Bishop of Stockport, Rt Revd Libby Lane.  The Rogationtide service is a celebration of rural Cheshire and is thought to have its origins in a pagan Roman ceremony known as Robigalia when practitioners would process and pray for their crops to be protected from disease.
